Skiing is the Leiwandste what one can imagine "has sung Wolfgang Ambros in his huge hit!
The hut is since 1979 owned by the Freisinger family and is located at 1840 m above sea level directly next to the valley station of the chair lift Pleisen. We offer our guests in the rustic dining room about 45 seats and a cozy bar and, weather permitting, 80 outdoor seating. Served is primarily home cooking, where the "pepper sausage" and our "Kaspressknödel" beyond the borders are known and loved. Many of the processed meats offered are from domestic production in Axams.
We have from 9am for our guests during the whole ski season daily - open - without a day off.
From the cottage for several years leads a 2 km long toboggan run to the parking Axamer Lizum. The toboggan run is accessible in about 45 minutes and not lit at night. No toboggan rental at the cottage! No overnight stay!
Information on the current status of the run is obtained through the Tourism Axams under www.innsbruck.info/axams or directly via www.winterrodeln.org

Skiing in Axamer Lizum, mountain hikes in the Tyrolean mountains. Familie Freisinger welcomes his guests.
he Axamer Lizum is still known to many of the Olympic Games 1964 and 1976 in Innsbruck. The alpine competitions were held here at the time, and countless crowds lined the circuit. Today, the Axamer Lizum is a bit quieter, but not less sporty.
